Join us as we celebrate the incredible achievements of 10 of our dedicated athletes. They all took on significant challenges, pushing themselves to their limits while achieving their personal best.

You can read about their remarkable journeys below, and feel free to reach out to them on Instagram and congratulate them on their success.

What were your top accomplishments during 2023?

“Taking part in the BC Epic 1,000. It’s a 1,000 km off-road bike-packing ultra across British Columbia.”

What is it like having an AchievePTC coach?

"It has been very rewarding to see my fitness improve working with Jackson. He has been incredibly supportive and is always flexible with my schedule and my ever-changing goals and dreams. I'm grateful that I have the fitness to take on all the bike adventures that I do on a relative whim."

Achieve Athlete: Ryan Rinn (@ryanrinn)

What were your top accomplishments during 2023?

“Getting 6th overall (1st in my age group) at the Lake Sonoma MTB Grasshopper race, a discipline I've only raced a handful of times. CX season is early, but two runner-ups in the pro field this year and last year's district championship in single speed are my most recent accomplishments.”

What is it like having an AchievePTC coach?

“I'm a longtime Achieve athlete, and although I'm not racing all the time, it's a huge advantage for me to have someone to check with and help me get the most out of my season and cycling goals. I appreciate that my coach, Jackson, helps me balance the enjoyment of riding and the demands of life with getting me sharp for my key events.”

Achieve Athlete: Zach Redlin

What were your top accomplishments during 2023?

“My biggest achievement was completing an Everest on dirt. I also saw big improvements from last year and knocked 40 min off my Tahoe Trail 100 time.”

What is it like having an AchievePTC coach?

“I feel confident that I’m doing the best thing for my body and getting stronger constantly without worrying about overextending myself. I like that I still maintain the freedom to have fun.”

Achieve Athlete: Lars Leckie (@larsleckie)

What were your top accomplishments during 2023?

“I climbed Mauna Kea for my birthday, took eighth place in my age group in the Tahoe Trails ride, and competed in Gravel Nationals.”

What is it like having an AchievePTC coach?

“Coaching helps me stay on track and get me as ready as I can be for events—he keeps my rides more frequent, focused, and pointed in the right direction for events over the page in the calendar.”

Achieve Athlete: Lora Maes

What were your top accomplishments during 2023?

“I won the 50+ NCNCA BAR, won the Berkeley Cat 3 Criterium, and got a top 10 at Berkeley Hills Road Race.”

What is it like having an AchievePTC coach?

“Having Adrian as my coach not only gives me the structure for my training and fitness but, more importantly, the support with racing strategies and the mental aspect of competing.”

Achieve Athlete: Joshua Taylor (@hauab)

What were your top accomplishments during 2023?

“My big goal was top 10 finish at Truckee Gravel Fondo, and I hit that goal. I also got 19th in my age group at RPI's Queen Stage after competing in the stage race. A massive improvement over last year.”

Achieve Athlete: Henry Slocum (@henry_takes_trails)

What were your top accomplishments during 2023?

“I competed in the Fat Dog 120 ultramarathon and finished with a  44:18, and I followed that up four weeks later with the Superior 100, completing it in 30:16.”

What is it like having an AchievePTC coach?

“The quality of my training has gone way up, translating to success in my most ambitious season yet. Adrian always makes sure my training schedule is reflective of my real progress, meeting me where I am rather than being confined to a stock plan.”

Achieve Athlete: Monique van den Boogaart (@moniquevandenboogaart)

What were your top accomplishments during 2023?

“Challenged myself by riding a 400k and 600k randonneuring event. My longest ride so far, and for the 600k, I had to ride by myself through the night, which was a sometimes scary but cool experience. I rode my first two local gravel races (Gunni Grinder 120 and Rexy 100M), met many new people, pushed harder than I thought possible, and won.”

What is it like having an AchievePTC coach?

“There are two things that I love about the coaching; first, having a custom program that challenges me but at the same time also makes sure I take enough rest (as I would not do this naturally :)). Second, being able to jam with the coach about potential races and adventures and having someone excited about it as well."

Achieve Athlete: Miguel Villafuerte (@bellcros)

What were your top accomplishments during 2023?

“I completed the Marin Century & Tour of Fuzz Century.”

What is it like having an AchievePTC coach?

“Having an Achieve coach is like having a cycling Yoda as a coach. Ask any question, and you will get a master-level answer. It’s way better than using chatGPT for cycling advice."

Achieve Athlete: Chris Burger

What were your top accomplishments during 2023?

Completed a 400-mile, 25,000 ft., 7-day bike ride in Montana

What is it like having an AchievePTC coach?
